I was trained as a Reiki practitioner 17 years ago, and have been working with many different people. The very last time I visited my mother in hospital, I asked if she wanted a bit of healing? She agreed. She told me that she felt a certain kind of activity in her ‘worst’ lung the left one. Sadly she passed away 4 days later.
I have also been healing both my own and other peoples horses. Animals really do enjoy the sensation of a healing session.
If you have no idea what either is let me try to explain a bit here:
Reiki originates from Japan and is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words - the word Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and the word Ki which is "life force energy". Some even refer to this as the excess of love energy floating around the word.
I no longer refer to myself as a Reiki Healer, only a healer, this has to do with the fact that I just do what ever I feel like in the moment.
Basically what I do is I open up for the energy to flow to and through me to the recipient.
